This is a Marklin 37253 Digital German Federal Railroad (DB) Class Kittel DT8 Steam Powered Rail Car. It was built starting in 1915, originally for the Grand Ducal Baden State Railways. This is the version in crimson red paint scheme for Era III. Features include an mfx digital decoder, controlled miniature can motor, die-cast metal car frame, 2 axles powered, dual headlights which change over with the direction of travel, headlights are maintenance-free warm white LEDs, an NEM coupler pocket, many separately applied details, completely free view through the engineers cab, representation of the boiler, headlights will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally, acceleration and braking delay can be controlled with a 6021 Control Unit or Mrklin Systems, and the length over the buffers is: 5-1/8. This model can also be found in a DC version in the Trix H0 assortment under item no. 22033.
